Video and Full Interview Text

Karen: This is PKF Texas, Entrepreneur's Playbook, and I'm Karen Love. I'm the host and co-founder. Today I'm here with Scott Soles, an audit director at PKF Texas, and we'd like to welcome you back again, Scott, to the Playbook.

Scott: Always a pleasure to be here, Karen. Thank you for having me.

Karen: Thank you. So we've been talking about enterprise risk management. I'm in the audience. I'm interested. You've really got me intrigued. What is the way to make this happen? How do we do this? What's the process?

Scott: Well, if you're a business owner or a stakeholder in an organization, the easiest way to get this started is to just give us a call.

Karen: Okay.

Scott: The easy way to get this started is sort of a no-risk proposition for businesses to sit down, let us come out and have a conversation with them, and explain some of the intricacies of this process, what it means to them, and decide from there where to go. There's no cost. Do it over lunch or whatever's right for them.

Karen: Okay. And then you'd come back with a plan after the initial free consultation?

Scott: Yes.

Karen: I like that. Fantastic.

Scott: I think it'll get traction almost automatically once you get in there.

Karen: I would think so. So - well, it sounds intriguing to me. You've got me buying it for sure, so -

Scott: Great.

Karen: Well, we are appreciative of you sharing that with us, and we hope that we can talk to you again in the future about this and let us know how it's going.

Scott: Great. I'm looking forward to it.

Karen: This has been another Thought Leader production brought to you by PKF Texas Entrepreneur's Playbook, so tune in next week for another chapter.
