Leisa: Hello, this is Leisa Holland-Nelson, and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business, where we're going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Sheryl Rapp, founder of the Up Experience. Sheryl, tell us what the Up Experience is.

Sheryl: Well, the Up Experience is a one-day event on October 25th, where we bring in 16 thought leaders from all over the world that will speak for 20 minutes each, on 16 complete different topics.

Leisa: I know you're starting your fifth Up Experience. Are you projecting what the Up Experience will be like in five years for your tenth?

Sheryl: Well, actually, I'm very focused now on trying to get the theater full. Our theater holds about 1,000 people, and we'd love to get as many intellectually curious Houstonians as possible in the theater, and that's our goal right now. In five years, I'd love to be in multiple cities, but for right now, where my husband and I are born and raised in Houston, we'd love to see as many Houstonians as possible.
