WMB host Leisa Holland-Nelson, president of ContentActive, interviews Bambi McCullough, co-founder of Chrysalis Partners.
Leisa: Hello. I'm Leisa Holland-Nelson, and welcome to another edition of Women Mean Business, where we're going to take you up close and personal with extraordinary women doing extraordinary things. My guest today is Bambi McCullough, former bank CEO and current cofounder and president of Chrysalis Partners. Bambi, imagine there's a young aspiring professional businesswoman listening to us today. What advice would you give her?
Bambi: One piece of advice I would give her is to make sure that she creates a sufficient foundation of relationships. Sometimes we don't pay attention to how important relationships are, and it's critical in business. You never know when you're gonna need those relationships, and while you have to have the skills and knowledge to be successful, you also have to have a foundation of relationships.
The other thing that I would say is to make sure you're doing what you're passionate about. When you're doing what you love, you'll naturally grow and develop. It won't seem like work. And so that's the two pieces of advice I think I would have for young professional women today.
Leisa: Thank you so much. There you have it, another episode of extraordinary women doing extraordinary things.
