The company uses cost-efficient technology to manipulate bacteria already present in the wells to increase recovery by 10-15 percent. Page, who was brought in to help grow the company, talks about the dynamics of bringing investors into the mix.

Geotrace’s 300 scientists--including mathematicians, physicists, geologists and geophysicists—help clients reinterpret their data more efficiently to provide better seismic imaging information.
