Gautam Gandhi - New Business Development in India, Google

As a Fulbright Scholar, Gautam Gandhi studied entrepreneurship, business schools and business models emerging from India’s growing economy. While he was a student at Carnegie Mellon University, Gandhi co-founded ClearCount Medical Solutions, winner of the 2004 Rice Alliance Business Plan Competition. Gandhi has now returned to India, where he works for Google in its new business development group. He is an expert on entrepreneurship—here AND in India. Flashback - Jennifer Heard & Gail Thomas-Flynn, Microsoft Corp.

Russ visits Jennifer Heard, Central Regional U.S. Vice President and Gail Thomas-Flynn, General Manager, State and Local Govt. Heard and Thomas-Flynn are in Houston to launch Microsoft’s “We Can” initiative, an effort to connect with underserved communities nationwide and assist with digital literacy. Microsoft is donating $4.5 million to the Houston Library for software, curriculum and tools. In this segment, Microsoft options for small business are discussed.
