Summary:
Lane Sloan is expert in virtually all forms of energy. After a 30-year career with Shell Oil Co. and serving in several executive positions, he retired in 2000 to begin a second career. He is Director of the University of Houston Strategic Energy Collaborative and assistant to the Provost, and co-authored Terra Incognita: A Navigation Aid for Energy Leaders, which was published in 2007. He has followed fossil and alternative fuels for years and offers an intriguing perspective on energy supply, demand and where we're headed.
