Sloan is Director of the University of Houston Strategic Energy Collaborative and assistant to the Provost, and co-authored Terra Incognita: A Navigation Aid for Energy Leaders, which was published in 2007.

Flashback - Doug Cameron

Russ flashes back to September 2007 when he visited with Doug Cameron, chief scientific officer of venture capital firm Khosla Ventures. Cameron's expertise lies in biotechnology - he holds Ph.D. in biochemical engineering from MIT. Cameron makes observations on biofuels, "clean technology" and financing companies with the potential for world-wide impact.
