Flashback - Idea Triggers

Alex Khachatryan, Founder, President, and CEO of Reasoning Mind, Inc., talks with Russ about his unique, non-profit company's innovative approach to teaching math and science for grades K-12. His teaching system of computer labs, where each student has his or her own unique login, tracks and analyzes a student's progress. This in turn creates a unique path customized to that particular student's way of learning. The teacher is then able to better assist the students with more one on one interaction even in a large class environment.

Our History lesson consists of President Richard Nixon announcing his trip to China this week in 1971, the US and the Soviet Union meet in outer space this week in 1975, and parking meters debuted this week in 1935. Our vocabulary lesson has us pondering "ambimoustrous." Lastly, John tells us a story about the BBC trying to reach Bob Marley via email.
