Heida Thurlow had her first taste of entrepreneurism in the late 1970s when she started importing cookware to the U.S. As a serious cook, she knew what she wanted but couldn’t find it; as an engineer, she decided to make it herself. Today, Thurlow holds 27 design and utility patents from the U.S. and Germany for cookware design and innovation.
