John Pacini
John Pacini is a Senior Contributing Editor and Guest Host of the BusinessMakers Radio Show.
Over the years John has come to be recognized as an experienced operations and finance executive, entrepreneur, and business consultant. He has served at the Vice President, Managing Director and C-levels, leading large teams and driving growth to help companies achieve their strategic business objectives. This has allowed John to provide direct shareholder value for publicly-traded Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller owner-operated businesses. John has also served as a financial and operations advisor over 40 successful startup and closely-held companies across the country during his career. He has worked with a prestigious list of clients and companies that includes John Hancock Financial Services, Best Western International, Harman International and more, as well as numerous family offices, top corporate executives and professional athletes.
John is currently the Chief Financial Officer for Independent Professional Management, Inc., (IPM) and all affiliated companies. IPM is a global full-service consulting firm that specializes in providing business consulting and workforce management services for Fortune 500 clients, particularly in the energy sector. As an Operating CFO, John is also responsible for helping guide the enterprise-level strategy, management focus and business development objectives of the company, and his contributions have been instrumental in the company’s unprecedented growth in recent years.
John earned his B.A. with high honors from St. Edward’s University, his M.A. from New York University, and completed the Certified Financial Planner curriculum at Rice University in Houston. In his free time he serves as the NYU Alumni Chapter President in Houston, has served on the NYU Alumni Association Board of Directors, and is involved in other non-profit boards, charitable associations and public-service organizations. John is also an unabashed technology geek and tennis fanatic, as well as an FCC-licensed amateur radio operator (W5PAC). John lives in Houston with his wife Carrie and their two children.
