Russ Capper - Co-host

Capper has a 25-year history of founding and running technology enabled service companies. After 12 years with IBM, he became President and COO of Techtron Corporation (dba ComputerLand) in 1986. After 7 years of growth, he engineered the sale of the company to Technology Development Corp. He followed that stint as owner and CEO of Document Services, Inc., an electronic document image capture and management company. He sold that company to IKON in 1995 and became President of IKON’s Digital Litigation Solutions group. In March of 1998, Capper founded eRealty.com, a residential real estate brokerage built from the ground up with fully integrated Internet technology to improve and streamline the process. Prudential Real Estate acquired eRealty in 2004. Today, Capper is President of Prudential Real Estate Services Company.

John Beddow - Co-host

John has extensive news and print media experience. Early in his career he held positions at the Charleston (W Va) Gazette and Daily Mail, the Raleigh (NC) News and Observer, the Annapolis (MD) Capital, the Baltimore Sun, and the National Newspaper Association. In 1980 he held management positions at the Washington Magazine and the Baltimore Magazine. In 1983 he was named Publisher of the Pittsburgh Business Times. Four years later he became Publisher of the Houston Business Journal. In 1990, he was moved to Tampa to be the Publisher of the Tampa Bay Business Journal. He returned to Houston in 1998 to again serve as Publisher of the Houston Business Journal, as well as Group Publisher over the other Texas Business Journals (Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin) owned by American City Business Journals.

Jodie Eisenhardt - Producer

Jodie Eisenhardt is the enthusiastic Producer of The BusinessMaker’s Radio Show. Despite a career that includes numerous successful endeavors in the realm of sales and marketing, radio is the “boomerang” of her existence where she has worked in promotions and marketing as well as production of various radio programs. Kelsey Ruger - Interactive Director

Kelsey Ruger is an accomplished software architect, designer and information architect who has lent his expertise to high profile Internet projects at Prodigy and SBC as well as a number of start-ups. Kelsey is currently the Vice President of Technology and Operations for Houston based PopLabs where he is responsible for the company’s product development and creative services teams. Prior to joining Pop Labs, Kelsey was one of the youngest directors in the SBC Telecommunications family of companies, where he led the client development efforts for SBC Prodigy and SBC Internet. As SBC’s development lead he was vital in designing, planning and implementing the first SBC Yahoo Dial and DSL kits. Kelsey is passionate about creating a world where technology is transparent, simple and universally accessible to all people regardless of ability, and shares this passion on his personal blog The Moleskin.
