Russ revisits his interview with Nolan Bushnell, inventor of the original video game, Pong, and more recently, creator of uWink, an interactive, social restaurant—a Chuck E. Cheese for adults. In this segment, Bushnell discusses the early days of trying to grow Atari Inc., of establishing a new culture and running a company when he had no money. He mentions a couple of young employees—two guys named “Steve.”

Episode 141: Featured Guest – Steve Wozniak, Computer Visionary
For his sixth grade science fair project, Steve Wozniak built a machine that played Tic-Tac-Toe. During the 1960s, at a time when a single computer occupied the space of an entire room, he was designing minicomputers for companies like Hewlett Packard and IBM. Microprocessors were tiny and they were cheap—Wozniak started using them to build his own computers. A few years later, he and Steve Jobs founded Apple Computer. Steve Jobs wanted to make a “ready to use” computer; Woz made it all work. And the rest is history—literally!
