John Callaway, founder and CEO of Superior Renewable Energy LLC discusses vision and the importance of the wind energy industry. In August 2006, Superior Renewable Energy was acquired by a subsidiary of international investment and advisory firm Babcock & Brown (ASX: BNB). Callaway transitioned to Babcock & Brown to continue his organic development effort. B&B expects its wind portfolio to reach more than 700 megawatts by year-end 2007.

His “Eat Mor Chikin” billboards have won international advertising awards. The company was the first to establish a scholarship program for employees and reached its $20 million scholarship milestone in 2005. Complacency is simply not tolerated in this 61-year-old company, and its marketing efforts are truly inspirational.
