Highland Park Tutors is an in-home, student tutoring service that provides quality tutoring at affordable prices for the entire Park Cities area.  With 10 different tutors, each ranking in the top of their class at Highland Park High School, the Tutors can tutor every core subject taught at Highland Park High School as well as foreign languages and a few other electives.

Victor started his business in the summer of 2006 after working for another company and realizing he wanted to be in control of his own financial destiny.  The idea of tutoring came to him, after he struggled in physics, and realized everyone needs help sometime.   He taught himself web design and created the website for the tutoring business. After securing the high school’s top achievers, he contacted the Park Cities People and had all his tutors at his house for an interview and photo shoot.  The front page article brought in many clients to his web site.  The business has been wildly successful.  Future marketing plans are to test advertising in the high school newspaper, test a direct mail campaign, send out postcards to every address in the school directory, offer discounts to clients who refer new clients, and pass out flyers and speak at PTA meetings for the middle and high schools.  Victor is planning to continue Highland Park Tutors when he goes to college.  Because of the design of his website, as long as he has tutors the business can almost run itself.  His goal is that Highland Park Tutors becomes a household name in his community. Victor plans to study business in college, start his own business and have it grow to become a fortune 500 company.
